The major steel mills have instituted additional price increases effective immediately.
Chicago Metallic has tried to be conservative in raising prices this past year.
Unfortunately, we now need to pass along these increases in steel costs.

Effective with shipments on and after October 4th, 2010, USG will increase prices on the following products:
All Commercial and Retail Ceiling Grid Systems will increase by 10%. (Including Drywall Suspension Systems)

The volatility in the steel market continues. Raw material prices continue to rise. In August,
major North American steel mills raised prices again for all new orders for delivery in September.

To: All U. S. CertainTeed Ceiling Customers
Subject: Commercial and Retail Ceiling Tile

Effective with all shipments beginning October1, 2010, CertainTeed Ceilings will increase
the price on all ceiling tiles except fiberglass products.

The increase will be 5% except for the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, South Georgia,
Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee where a 15% increase
will be applied.

Domestic steel mills have metered capacity to meet demand and are continuing to experience
raw material cost increases, making it necessary for them to raise prices on future orders. As a
result, Marino\WARE will raise prices 10% on metal framing components effective September
7th, 2010.

ceiling products will increase by 15% in the markets listed and illustrated on the
attached map.
